The Face behind the Camera
Why Hello......I'm so glad your here!
Let me tell you all about myself. Firstly, I can 100% sympathise with everyone who hates getting there photos taken because I do too. That's why I really try to be as candid as possible.
I am an open book......my life has no secrets and I wear my heart on my sleeve for all to see. I like to see the good in every situation and take every opportunity to have a laugh and a giggle. You'll catch me singing country music at the top of my lungs in every car ride and one day, I WILL tour America and take part in a cattle drive. You heard it hear first!
I've always been told I have one of those faces that people just want to talk to......so much so, that the old wifey in Aldi's (Supermarket) will give me her full life story, whilst waiting in the queue.
I love meeting new people and finding things out about them......Even if someone is very shy, I can usually get them to talk within a matter of minutes. What can I say, it's a gift! I get a total buzz from having new experiences and every wedding I undertake feels like the most amazing adventure! *wipes the tear from my eye*.
Although Photography has always been a big part of my life, Before taking the jump to full time photographer, I was a specialist saxophone teacher, teaching the most amazing range of people and personalities. And yes, I can totally play both Baker Street and Jubel. Like many people, covid and lockdown gave me a new lease of life and allowed me to finally follow my dream of being able to turn images into art. I'm so thankful for this, and feel blessed every day to be doing what I'm doing.
As well as doing my absolute dream job, I have been blessed in life with the most supportive husband and 2 totally gorgeous,(obviously biased), curly haired bairns. They complete my life and fill it with so much joy! We are very lucky to be living on a 15 acre small holding in Fife, which is a labour of love, sweat and tears but the kids get to grow up living their best lives running around barefoot and covered in mud, learning all about this thing we call life.
There you have it. I'm a Scottish lass from a wee toon with an unhealthy addiction to country music who is up for taking on any challenge you throw at me.
If you made it through all of that I salute you, because I would of 100% of scrolled right past all of that writing. So........
Let's do this! ;-)
Much Love,
Kirsty x
